The event does not explain the love.

The coincidence does not establish a connection. One civil date held both. She knew nothing about the gravitational-wave event. She would find that much later.

Gravity makes spacetime carry the trace of an event.

Strain reached Earth. Catalogs followed. Masses were inferred, not weighed. A median is a convenience. The interval is the claim.

Gravity makes spacetime carry the trace of an event.

What makes consciousness do the same?

This question is open. Physics does not answer it. Language, art, memory and love are the names we have for interior events that refuse to stay interior. Whether they are traces in any sense a detector would recognise is not a measurement. It is a curiosity that survived contact with a catalog.

You still cannot see a black hole itself. You can now say how we learned to know it was there. And perhaps you are newly curious about the traces other invisible things leave behind.
